Redevelopment Plans
The Maryland Manor Apartments are to be replaced by a multi-use development that will be constructed along the south side of Bissonnet Street, east of Ashby Street . The 23-story building will provide a five-level parking garage, an amenity plaza level (6th floor) with exercise room, spa and offices, and 17 floors of apartments or condominiums. Plans include:
• specialty retail (street level)
• fine dining restaurant (street level)
• spa (6th floor plaza level)
• executive suite office space (6th floor plaza level)
• 226 apartments or 187 owned condominiums (floors 7 thru 23)
• 5 live/work town homes (street through 5th level)
